A lot of you may know me because of my Facebook page where I discuss different health topics, and some of you may not.
Either way is fine since this isn’t about me. Not at all. It’s about us as women, and the challenges we’ve had to overcome for years relating to our bodies.
Don’t know about you, but I feel like the universe has interesting ways of “knocking on our door” and providing us with just what we need at the exact moment we most need it.
What I’m about to tell you represents a breakthrough that I and many other women have been seeking for a long time – perhaps even you too.
This is exactly why I’m choosing to share it.
Let me give you a glimpse of my world before finding out about this, and how it ended up opening my eyes in a big way and completely changing my life.

Celebrity Lemon Ginger Detox Tea
– 2 1/2 cups boiling water
– 1 lemon cut into slices
– 1 inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced
– 1/8 tsp ground tumeric
– 2 tsp honey (optional)
– 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
– Add water to an aluminum pot and bring to a boil, then remove from heat
– Stir in lemon, ginger and tumeric
– Cover and steep for 30 minutes
– Stir when finished, then pour through a strainer into a glass container for storage
– Add honey and cayenne pepper to taste
– This can be served hot or cold
– For best results use purified water and organic versions of all ingredients

For as long as I can remember I was the “large” woman in my various circles.
Whether it was work, church, or anywhere in the community, it seemed I was always the one who struggled most with losing pounds and maintaining a figure.
Prior to discovering this method I’d been through it all:
Trying some of those prepared meal services, eating only salads (horrible – I was constantly hungry), and even hiring a personal trainer at a few points in time (always wanted to strangle them)…
You name it, I’ve tried it… and at 56 years old I’ve tried a lot!
Not only did nothing ever seem to stick, I still couldn’t control my cravings at odd times of day… or night. It was beyond frustrating.
Sure, sometimes I’d have small bits of success here or there, but I could never keep the weight off permanently no matter what I did.

The problem is I could never figure out how to keep it from going straight to my hips, thighs and… well, everywhere.
For years I felt trapped inside my “large” body… believing nothing would ever work for me.
And because of that negative belief I made even poorer health and eating choices.
It was a never ending cycle I didn’t know how to stop.
The worst part of all? I was literally ashamed of being naked.
As humans we’re of course born naked… it’s the essence of how our lives begin. How awful it felt to be ashamed of my own human essence.
By the time world events got crazy earlier this year I’ll admit I was not in a good mental space about my body.
When isolation happened and suddenly we couldn’t go much of anywhere, I did something extremely out of character for me…
I made the decision to make my life a priority.
In other words I consciously decided that living – and the length of my own life – actually mattered.
Something interesting happens the very moment we make a decision like that.
In my case I became crystal clear that I needed to fully invest in myself to make it happen.
I also had a sudden feeling – almost like an adrenaline rush – that it would not have to be as hard as it was for so many years.
I kid you not, it wasn’t even two days later that I happened to run into an old friend from church at the grocery store who I hadn’t seen in quite some time (we were both stocking up on toilet paper, haha).
Adrienne always had a similar, ahem, ‘large’ build as me. But when I saw her this time she looked like HALF her former self… she was fit, trim and absolutely gorgeous!
I.. was.. speechless… and I’m never speechless.
After getting over my shock I looked her right in the eyes and said, “Alright lady, you HAVE to tell me what did to make this happen.”
She started telling me about an all natural method and a video, and I immediately interrupted.
“Wait…” I said to her, “this isn’t another ‘wonder pill’ that will magically ‘solve every problem I’ve ever had’, is it?”
